Tharunyata Hetak has been facilitating over 1 million students over the past 5 years to enable efficiency in their respective arenas of Education. The journey commences from Grade 5 Scholarship exams to Career Development.

In accordance to a concept of the Chairman Namal Rajapaksa the district of Hambanthota witnessed a phenomenal change in career development today.” Gamata Saviyak Tharunyata Javayak” kept its stepping stone in Hambanthota as a part of a National project.

The need was identified that the students facing the A’Level examination next month needs brushing up of English,Computer Knowledge and Soft skills.It does not stop there a further need was identified to create respective curriculums for job oriented tasks which takes the nature of job oriented trainings .This special program commenced by providing the required skills accordingly to the potential job market.

The uniqueness of the program is that it introduced the skills passport which is to be an accepted form of certification to students going through different levels of training.It is new concept found by the honourable chairman which is the first concept in the world for a skills passport.The first program was held in Mahargha Training School in Beliaththa witnessed by the Honourable Chairman Namal Rajapaksa.Also present was Mr Kapila Giragama of Orient Academy who is the official training provider for the respective program.A special branch is going to be open in Hambanthota tomorrow to further enhance the training.Today’s program was witnessed by 2500 students who are going to face the A’Level examination next month.

In a futuristic glance ” Tharunyata Hetak” wishes to call up a forum of the corporate sector to identify their needs and follow up on skills training .The project is to be done islandwide.The program headed and coordinated Mrs Savithri Panditharathna,Mr Priyantha Rathnayake and KithaliJayawickreme.
