Girl Guides “Uthuru Mithuru” Project in Killinoachchi And Jaffna
In accordance to a concept of the Chairman Tharunyata Hetak Honourable Namal Rajapaksa the “Uthuru Mithuru “program sees light. It was done with the motive of strengthening the relationships between us and our very own in the north. The program was hosted by us along with 40 girl guides and 10 teachers of Kandy in the district of kandy. The program was held on the 20th ,21st ,22nd and 23rd of October 2010 .

Temple,Naga Pusani Amman Kovil ,Kiramaley Pond,Damba Cola Patuna, Nilawaley Well,Naloor Kovil,Jaffna Library ,Naga Viharaya Celebration of the 100th year of Girl Guides( Pahan Pooja)

Field Events at the St Theresa’s College premises which saw the
Participation of other schools in Jaffna and Kilinochchi such as
Wembadi Girls School Muruganandan,Mullan Kovil,
Premanandaru,Guruthipuram,Agarajan Colleges. It saw an active Participation of over 2000 students.

· Fireworks display

The tour ended by a religious tour to the Madhu Church and the
Girl Guides returned to Kandy.
